No Women Allowed
in the
George Bush World
Check out this photo

This is a photo of G. W. Bush signing the "partial birth abortion ban"
legislation. So, here is the President of the United States signing a piece of
legislation that has an impact on women and their right to obtain medical treatment.
Where are the women in this photo?
Think about it -- the President signing legislation affecting women and not a woman in
sight at the signing ceremony -- nothing but the usual suspects of grey-haired white men
in blue suits. (Well, okay, three of them color their hair.)
This photo illustrates exactly what the Bush administration and their reactionary,
radical rightwing supporters intend to do. First, you must realize that
banning "partial birth abortion" is the first step toward banning legal
abortion. Next, you must realize that G. W. Bush is supported by a reactionary crowd
of political and religious extremists who want to steadily and deliberately force American
women back into the kitchen where they can be kept barefoot and pregnant.
You see, these extremists realize that a woman who can control her body can control her
future -- and they tell us that "God" wants women to be subservient to men.
Their plan is to outlaw legal abortion, then follow this by pushing back equal pay
and equal treatment legislation; wipe out sexual harassment laws; and in every way
possible push women back into the 19th century.
Look at the photo. That's George W. Bush's idea of being "inclusive."
